MUGS, the Missoula Urban Greenway System, is a proposal for a non-motorized transportation network that utilizes existing neighborhood streets (converted to a variety of green streets) along with urban trails and expanded greenways. This network could be woven into Missoula's current infrastructure. The combination of on-street and off-street non-motorized facilities would increase the mobility and access for people who walk, bicycle, wheelchair, rollerblade, ski, skateboard, jog, etc. |
